Cem Basman is managing director of AKRA GmbH since May 2009 and responsible for the division “Future Technologies”.
He has been founder and managing director of several IT services and software developing companies. Already at the beginning of his studies in
computer sciences at the University of Hamburg he started Basman Informatik which grew into Lufthansa Systems Network in the last 25 years.
During this period Cem Basman initiated, planned and managed numerous hugh and innovative IT projects and business models for national and international
companies.
AKRA's division "Future Technologies" enables young and established companies with knowhow, experience and resources in technologies for web,
communications, mobiles, games and location based services.
"Future Technologies" covers the need for professional skills in the technical realisation of innovative ideas like due dilligence, analysis, conception,
realisation, optimisation and running an operation.
Cem Basman is highly connected in the German web community and widely known for initiatives like the Startup-Weekend and Microblogging Conferences.
